How the film works
On the desk.
Under your fingers.
The MX 3.1 is shown as a keyboard to use: Alex presents it on camera, types on it and brings the smaller details into close-up. Coloured lighting and desk and gaming scenes show the product in different settings within the same walkthrough.
A question it helps answer
What is this keyboard like to use?
Typing demonstrations show hands on the keys, while macro footage lets the viewer examine the keyboard’s details. Wider desk views bring those close-ups back into the complete setup.
Created by Alex Caulfield.

Put a person beside the product
Alex introduces the white MX 3.1 on camera. The presenter-led sections connect the individual demonstrations into a product walkthrough.
- 02
Give small details their own shot
Macro views of the keys and footage of the coloured keyboard lighting give the viewer a closer look than the wider presenter shots allow.
- 03
Show it in a working setup
Typing, desk and gaming footage put the keyboard into use. The edit moves between the whole setup and the details being demonstrated.

From sealed box to first keypress.
A separate commissioned unboxing video. An overhead view follows the keyboard out of its packaging, shows the included cable, then moves into ports, feet and typing. Alex’s picture-in-picture explanation keeps the product in view.
